I incorporated pearl beads into the design as little ornaments on the tree, but you can replace this with wooden beads or any other type of bead you like.

Step 4: Cut a piece of twine to about ten inches. Fold the piece in half and tie a knot half an inch from the top. Attach the twine to the ring with another larks head knot.

Considering the size of this project, we’ve incorporated quite a few different knots, so this is also a great way to learn and get comfortable with new types of knots.
