Furthermore, providing a clear view of the custom rotor added to the NH35 movement colored in shining yellow characteristic of Invicta puts the overall design on an even higher level. If you’re looking for an alternative to the Tudor Black Bay 58, this one fits that role pretty well. While I’m not too keen on the slimness of the bezel, it is still a significant upgrade over the other Pro Divers I’ve covered. As for the 1953, it's definitely one of the better pieces that they make -- I just wish that they'd not put the ridiculous looking lollipop end onto that seconds hand. One of the biggest selling points of the 1953 is that it lacks the infamous “Invicta” graving on its left side, and while many enthusiasts like to complain about it online, few people would actually notice it IRL, and if they do, the chances of them gawking at you because you got fruit from the poisonous tree are very low. A vast Angel collection contains many attractive watches in styles and dimensions suitable to sophisticated ladies’ tastes and wrists. Another opportunity to remind ourselves of how great and diverse this world of horology truly is and why we’re so eternally thrilled and inspired by its beauty. It must be thanks to one of these features: 18 karats rose gold ion plating on the pushers, crown, and bezel, 100m water resistance, deep blue dial, and four subdials, all powered by a Japanese quartz movement. This 1953 came in a larger version of their regular yellow packaging with an additional external box. Some folks out there couldn’t care less about the brand reputation of their watch, but I believe it’s worth learning about. It’s true, the vast majority of us would never be able to afford to purchase an original 6204 for tens of thousands of pounds. While the clasp is stamped and the bracelet endlinks are hollow, the bracelet is not terribly rattly and feels comfortable on the wrist.

Here, the text and minute track appears a golden brown, and the indices are framed in the same color. The 1953 is a modest 40mm wide, 49mm tall, and 14mm thick with a lug size of 20mm, wearing very similar to newer Subs (and the Pro Diver, for that matter).

I feel like this is just the vintage version of the 8926, so im sure it will last a long time, and provide a good platform for modding as well. They’ve attempted to imitate the original Submariner, to the extent where they even have its release year on the dial, yet have failed to fully encapsulate the essence of a vintage watch.
